These 2 Drum styles are finely handcarved
and finished TRADITIONAL SAMOAN PATES or LALI SLIT DRUMS. They have
a large carved cavity inside and therefore sounds wonderful when playedl!!
They are made from the local Ironwood (Hardwood) tree called IFILELE and are
therefore very heavy in weight. The one on the left has a skillfully done
handcarved authentic traditional designs on both sides and the one on the
right is carved in the shape of a sea turtle. Included with each drum are
two handcarved playing sticks.
The drum on the Top is the drum
used by polyesian bands and dance groups and is made in many lengths and circumferences
from 12" long up to more than 36" long. The 2 Turtle Drums on the
bottom are also made in the larger sizes. These drums are very heavy for their
size so shipping fees go up considerably as the drum gets longer and wider.

are both 13" long and this size is $59.00 plus shipping
24" drum is approximately $175.00 plus shipping; 32" drum is approximately
$275.00 plus shipping.
