This beautiful handcarved
Pounder is traditionally used for pounding cocoa beans but can be used for
ginger, garlic, spices or whatever.
Each Pounder is unique different and no 2 are exactly the same. Handcarved
from one piece of dense hardwood (IFILELE tree wood) so is quite heavy and
sturdy. Beautiful carved traditional Samoan designs on the outside. Has a
lovely grain to the wood on the inside of the bowl. Very attractive and makes
a wonderful, decorative and useful gift. Measures 5-1/4" square x 3-1/2" high
with the pounder being 7" high.
