Handmade FAUX TURTLE SHELL RINGS
Handmade in SAMOA from Faux Turtle Shell Nylon. In narrow and wide WIDTHS. Decorated with silver metal and some with abalone (paua) shell inserts. These rings are handmade from the Faux Turtle Shell Bracelets so after being cut and formed the handcut pieces of metal design or lettering or handcut Abolone (paua) Shell is inserted into the ring, all by hand. I have a few Wide Width rings with SAMOA on them as pictured below.

Handmade SAMOAN BAUWOOD RINGS
Cute Handmade BAUWOOD RINGS handcarved from the now very rare Samoan hardwood called BAU WOOD which is presently only surviving in a small area on the west end of Savaii Island. It is a very hard, heavy and smooth-finished wood that has a slight reddish color. In Samoan Olden Times, this wood was used only for making War Clubs. It is said that this wood was reserved only for the making of the Samoan Royal Family's and the High Chiefs' war clubs. Medium size only.
